MISSION STATEMENT - Exceptional Health Partners, Inc is dedicated to bringing to our community an exceptional sense of well-being through our physical evaluations, healthy promotional activities, external facial & body enhancements, emotional support and spiritual guidance.
Exceptional Health Spa is an exclusive medical spa that provides a full body experience with innovative non-surgical and relaxation treatments that help to enhance the exceptional person within. Dr. Rodney S. Alford began this venture to provide an alternative to expensive plastic surgery procedures. Many of the services are performed with aesthetic lasers and light based equipment to help repair damaged skin and maintain a healthy vibrant look.
Exceptional Health Spa offers each guest a personal experience from the moment they enter the elegant, warm reception area until they exit the private boutique. In order to determine a treatment plan for each individual, the physician gives all guests a complete facial consultation. All services are performed by licensed/certified aestheticians and massage therapist.
A variety of skin care products from Pevonia, Esente, Dudley, and Clayton Shagal are available in our private boutique for after-care needs. We also carry a line of medical-grade products from Belle Derm. An experienced skin care consultant is always available to aid in the selection of products most suited for each individual.

'Prayer keeps me balanced' says aesthetician

When Jacqueline Alford, of St. Anne, moved here from Chicago with her husband Rodney, a physician, they were only planning to stay for a few years while he fulfilled a duty to provide medical care to underserved communities.
Coming from the bustling culture of a big city, Jacqueline did not really want to be here. But instead of dwelling on what Kankakee and the surrounding communities did not have, she turned her focus on what she could do for the area.
So she established roots by becoming active in Kankakee School District 111, her church, the local organization of physicians' spouses and various other groups.
"I've been here 23 years, and I've grown to love the community," she said, sitting in a comfy chair in the tranquil setting of Exceptional Health Spa, 1500 N. Illinois Route 50 in Bradley, which she and her husband, the medical director and owner, run.
